When traveling to Las Vegas and renting a car, one of the most frequently asked questions by visitors is whether their hotel offers parking for guests. Fortunately, MGM Resorts has created a comprehensive page dedicated to parking information, making it easy for travelers to understand their self-parking rates options.

While many hotels in Las Vegas typically advertise that parking is not complimentary, our experience at Excalibur was pleasantly surprising. Despite the general expectation of parking fees, we found that we did not incur any charges for our three-night stay. This unexpected benefit allowed us to allocate our budget towards enjoying the many attractions and experiences that Las Vegas has to offer.

The Bellagio Hotel stands out as one of the most iconic destinations in Las Vegas, largely due to its breathtaking water show. Guests at the Bellagio have the unique opportunity to experience the renowned Fountains of Bellagio up close, where water dances in sync with music and lights, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

Even if the Bellagio’s rates are a bit beyond your budget, I highly recommend visiting the hotel at night. The vibrant atmosphere along the Strip is enhanced by the dancing fountains, making it a worthwhile stop while exploring the various hotels in the area.

Since its grand opening in 1998, the Bellagio has established itself as a hallmark of luxury on the Las Vegas Strip. For those seeking an exceptional 5-star experience, the Bellagio is an excellent choice. Whether you’re a fan of poker or prefer the thrill of slot machines, the casino offers a diverse range of gaming options to suit every preference.

In my view, one of the most enchanting hotels in Las Vegas is undoubtedly the Venetian. This remarkable establishment offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the charm of Venice without the throngs of tourists that flock to Italy each year. The stunning architecture, reminiscent of the iconic canals and historic buildings of Venice, creates an atmosphere that transports visitors to another world.

A highlight of the Venetian experience is the Gondola Ride, which allows guests to glide along the picturesque canals. To ensure you don’t miss out on this delightful experience, it’s advisable to purchase tickets in advance, which can conveniently be done through Viator.

For those who are mindful of their budget, visiting the Venetian for free at night is a fantastic option. The hotel’s architecture is beautifully illuminated after dark, creating a magical atmosphere that can be enjoyed without spending a dime. Strolling through the property under the twinkling lights evokes memories of my own visit to St. Mark’s Square.

Travelers frequently inquire whether the Palazzo and the Venetian are the same hotel, and the answer is that they are indeed part of the same expansive resort complex in Las Vegas. Both properties offer a luxurious experience, allowing guests to enjoy a wide range of amenities regardless of which hotel they choose for their stay. This includes access to stunning pools, casinos, a variety of dining options, and an array of shops, making it easy for visitors to indulge in everything the resort has to offer.

While exploring the Las Vegas Strip, we found that the Palazzo is situated a bit further north compared to other hotels, such as the Venetian, Harrah’s, Caesars Palace or Paris Las Vegas. During our stroll along the Strip, we didn’t venture all the way to the Palazzo but its impressive structure loomed in the background. It is a striking sight that adds to the iconic skyline of Las Vegas.

During our search for an affordable hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, we found ourselves torn between two popular options: Luxor Las Vegas and Excalibur Hotel and Casino. At the time, I was particularly drawn to the enchanting castle theme of Excalibur. I was not aware that opting for Luxor could grant us a stay in a four-star hotel for a similar price as Excalibur’s three-star accommodations. This oversight made me realize the importance of considering not just the theme but also the overall quality and experience offered by each hotel.

If you’re on the hunt for budget-friendly accommodations along the Las Vegas Strip, the Excalibur Hotel is a fantastic option to consider. During our two-week road trip across the USA, it turned out to be one of the most affordable places we stayed.

In comparison, hotels near National Parks tend to be significantly pricier, and even a stay in Los Angeles can cost more than in Las Vegas. While the city is known for its extravagant hotels and bustling casinos, savvy travelers can find excellent deals at places like Excalibur, making it a smart choice for those looking to save without sacrificing experience.

The Excalibur Hotel boasts a whimsical medieval castle theme, which adds a unique charm to your stay. From your hotel room, you can enjoy stunning views of the enchanting fairytale towers that define the resort’s skyline.

In addition to its impressive accommodations, Excalibur hosts a variety of shows, including the popular Tournament of Kings, which is a must-see for guests. To secure the best rates, it’s advisable to book your stay for at least three nights, ideally two months in advance.

We planned our trip about eight months ahead, which allowed us to take advantage of great deals. If you come across a good offer for a hotel, don’t hesitate to make your reservation rather than waiting until the last minute, as prices can fluctuate significantly.

If you’re looking for affordable hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, I highly recommend considering a 3-star option like the Flamingo Las Vegas. This hotel boasts a prime location directly across from Caesars Palace, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area.

Just a short stroll away, you’ll find iconic destinations such as The Venetian and the Bellagio Hotel & Casino. For travelers seeking a balance of budget-friendly pricing and a central location, Flamingo Las Vegas stands out as one of the top choices.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the Flamingo Las Vegas is its wildlife habitat, which showcases a diverse array of exotic birds, including the Chilean flamingos and pelicans. This distinctive attraction allows visitors to immerse themselves in a touch of nature amidst the lively atmosphere of the Strip.

While the habitat provides a delightful experience, I find that observing these magnificent creatures in their natural settings is far more rewarding. For those who share my passion for wildlife, I highly suggest planning a visit to Isla Holbox in Mexico. There, you can witness flamingos in their authentic environment, surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Guests can enjoy easy access to nearby attractions, including the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel and the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, ensuring there’s plenty to see and do.

Staying at Harrah’s Las Vegas allows you to experience the vibrant energy of the Strip while enjoying the perks of a more affordable accommodation. With so many attractions within walking distance, you can make the most of your Las Vegas adventure without overspending.
