The Swarovski Kristallwelten Museum proudly showcases among others the iconic crown from the movie “The Young Victoria” (2009). This exquisite piece of artistry is a true testament to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into creating the film.

In Swarovski Kristallwelten Museum original garments worn by legendary figures such as Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Dita von Teese are on display, alongside recreations of historic pieces like Marlene Dietrich’s 1932 Blonde Venus outfit.

The concept behind the Eden Chamber of Wonder revolves around the creation of an environment that elicits a profound and instinctive response in humans: the forest. As one enters the chamber, they are greeted by a mesmerizing waterfall, captured on film in the majestic Alps.
Once inside, the visitor embarks on a journey along a winding path that leads them through a dense wilderness of meticulously crafted brass structures. These structures, with their polished surfaces, create an illusion of infinite depth through the clever use of mirrored walls. The effect is both disorienting and enchanting, as if the forest stretches on forever, beckoning the wanderer to explore its mysteries.
Deep within this enigmatic forest, the wanderer stumbles upon extraordinary treasures in the form of Swarovski’s largest crystals ever produced. Central to this masterpiece lies a sphere adorned with LEDs, whose luminosity is refracted by the inner facets of the meticulously cut crystals, resulting in a dynamic surface that evokes the radiant nature of our sun.
The genesis of El Sol can be traced back to the awe-inspiring geometric patterns found in the pyramids constructed by the Aztec and Mayan civilizations. In paying homage to his Mexican cultural heritage, Romero’s creation draws inspiration from these ancient architectural marvels.
The realization of this vision demanded the expertise of skilled technicians, who dedicated over 350 hours to meticulously construct this remarkable artwork.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the playtower is the illusion of floating it creates. From climbing walls to rocking platforms, swinging ropes to thrilling slides, this tower is a kids paradise.
The designers at Snøhetta have truly outdone themselves with the tower’s facades. Made up of 160 crystalline facets, each one is distinct and adds to the tower’s overall aesthetic appeal. This Norwegian architecture firm has designed many interesting buildings in Austria.

One of the highlights of Swarovski Kristallwelten in winter is the 10m high Christmas tree, adorned with the exquisite “Crystal Star” ornament designed by Tord Boontje. The tree is prominently displayed in the large square in front of the giant, spreading its radiant light in all directions, just like crystal.
